New Elfingrove dates added after 120,000 tickets sold in 24 hours

Glaswegians weren't slow in snapping up tickets for Elfingrove - the Christmas spectacular taking over Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum- as more than 120,000 tickets were sold in just 24 hours.

And now, thanks to the phenomenal demand for tickets for the inaugural event, itison has announced it’s adding an additional seven nights to extend the event from December 5 to January 5 (excluding December 24 to 26 and December 31 to January 2).

Oli Norman, CEO of itison and creator of Elfingrove, who is investing £1million in the event, said: “The response to Elfingrove has been phenomenal - we asked people to believe – and they have!

“Our hope when launching any new event is that we capture people’s imaginations, but never in our wildest dreams did we anticipate just how popular Elfingrove would be.

“We can’t wait for our first guests to experience what we have in store!”

Described as Night at the Museum meets GlasGLOW at Christmas, the world class production will transform the city’s most loved museum into a spectacular Christmas show with a spell-binding night-time tour of the museum, where inhabitants come to life and an ancient secret is finally revealed.

Tickets for the new dates will be released on Tuesday, October 8 at 12 noon exclusively at itison.com/elfingrove
