It has been an announced a new Edinburgh school with a 3G football pitch is almost ready to open after a delay.
The school, next to Niddrie Mains Road, was originally scheduled to have opened this year but work was delayed last year due the the coronavirus.
Castlebrae Community High in Craigmillar will now open in February 2022 if there are no further setbacks.
The 700 pupil capacity school that could be expanded to hold another 500 pupils at a later date will be ready at the end of January and pupils will move in soon after.
Construction started on the project at the end of 2019 but was suspended in March 2020 due to the pandemic.
The Scottish Government allowed them to resume work on June 22 of that year but it meant they were months behind of schedule.

Now the Councillor for Portobello and Craigmillar, Maureen Child, has confirmed online that the project will be ready within the next three months.
She said: “Building our new Castlebrae Community Campus is progressing well and on track to be complete by 31 January 2022.
“If this pace continues, the school can move over, from old to new, at or around the February half-term break.
“I visited with some staff a while ago, wearing the hard hat and oversized work boots. The next phase of visits will involve the Castlebrae learners as well and maybe children from the feeder primary schools too.”
As part of the construction project the memorial stone to Craig Millar, the baby tragically found dead after being abandoned in 2001, was safely removed from the site. It is to be kept in storage until a suitable new location for it is determined by the community.
