New Edinburgh pop-up described as 'burger heaven' to take over beer garden

Popular Edinburgh burger joint Luxford Burgers have announced their latest residency - and it offers incredible views of Arthur's Seat.

Whilst also based in their own restaurant/lounge bar on St. Leonard’s Street, and in a long-term kitchen residency at Fierce Beer on Rose Street, Luxford are now offering their burgers, fries and sides to customers of Holyrood Distillery's beer garden.

Named after ‘cult’ movies, Luxford’s burgers on offer over the tenancy at The Courtyard at Holyrood Distillery include The Highlander, comprising of steak patties, American cheese, crispy bacon, LUX sauce and pickles, or The Fight Club, made of crispy garlic chicken, mango salsa, cheddar, beer-candied bacon bits and club dressing.

Executive Director of Luxford Burgers, Alex Galpin, said: “We are really excited to partner with such a great brand and introduce our food offering to Holyrood’s customers.

“It’s great to be support local, and we really believe strong independent links are the key to offering great service, and great food, to all of our customers. We’re looking forward to our initial trial this weekend and continuing from there."

'Luxford @ The Courtyard' will be offering food during all opening hours of the outdoors drinking space, which are until 7pm Tuesday-Thursday, until 9pm Friday-Saturday and 6pm on Sundays.
