New Edinburgh pop-up bakery will serve stuffed cookies and huge cinnamon buns

Two Edinburgh independent businesses have teamed up to bring Leith Walk a 'summer of buns'.

Rhiain, otherwise known as the Babyfaced Baker on Instagram, launched her wholesale bakery business during lockdown, 'supplying goods to the good people of Edinburgh'.

The baker, who stocks her delicious bakes in the likes of The Little Fitzroy and Bam Coffee in Leith, has joined forces with police box coffee-serving resident The Drip Edinburgh to 'bang our talents together' and open a pop-up coffee shop this summer.

'Babyfaced Baker' serves up cakes such as cruffins, stuffed cookies (yes they're a thing and yes you're going to want one) and huge cinnamon buns - we've got our fingers crossed for more Colin the Caterpillar 'cookiepillars'.

The duo's takeaway will be setting up shop in Rhiain's 'wee bakery' on Leith Walk from July 1 to bring locals a 'summer of buns, caffeine and poor chat'.

Babyfaced Baker x The Drip Edinburgh will be open every Tuesday to Saturday from 7.30am - 3pm this July 1st to August 28th.
