An old bank in Edinburgh is set to be converted into a new Pizza Hut restaurant.
The City of Edinburgh Council validated the proposal from Pizza Hut on Thursday October 7 for signage for the new site in the capital.
The restaurant will operate out of 12 Bankhead Avenue in Sighthill at the premises of the old Clydesdale Bank.

It is anticipated that the opening hours will be Sunday to Thursday from 10am to 11pm and Friday and Saturday from 10am to 12pm.
Pizza Hut announced expansion plans last year and said they hoped to create around 2,000 new jobs over the next three years as part of significant growth plans.
Edinburgh council granted permission for the change of use from bank to restaurant in May of this year.
The planning application shows that the compact premises will have space for 15 customers, with seating for six, plus four queuing, and five for waiting.
The customer area is relatively small, and is surrounded by stores in either side, with the counter and kitchen areas forming the bulk of the new premises.
The council are now considering the application for fascia signage and seasonal promotional suspension frame in the window of the new restaurant but the developers say that the new restaurant will be good for the area.
They said: “The proposed development will involve the recycling of an existing vacant property. Given the location within a commercial area the impact of introducing a food and drink use into the area will not be an issue. On the contrary the proposed new restaurant will help to enliven the area by creating more activity which will contribute to the sense of security and safety.”
