A new 'champagne and gin' terrace has opened up in one of Edinburgh's most exclusive guest houses as lockdown restrictions ease.
Dunstane House has been known for its luxury rooms, however they have now expanded into a covered and heated drinks terrace to comply with the current level three rules.
Named 'The Garden', the bar has been set up on the front lawn of the West Coates guest house, complete with a huge overhead tent to ensure guests stay dry when enjoying their cocktails.

The hotel also confirmed that they are now taking bookings for overnight stays as well as food and drinks, with "some exciting news about our summer plans" yet to come.
It comes as the First Minister will confirm on Tuesday afternoon if Scotland can move down to level two restrictions from May 17. This move would allow alcohol to be sold until 10.30pm outdoors, as well as it also being served indoors.
