New Edinburgh bakery Kvasa opens at former solicitor's office in Leith

Leith has a brand new bakery, with Kvasa welcoming in customers for the first time in recent days.

Finding home at 101 Leith Walk, which was previously occupied by Gilfedder & McInnes solicitors, the Kvasa team have introduced their sourdough bakery to the neighbourhood.

Already, locals have enjoyed the likes of cinnamon buns, beautiful breads, coffees and a series of sweet treats, with the cafe set to be open Tuesdays, Wednesday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, between 8am and 4pm.

Following a busy first weekend, the Kvasa team took to social media to thank everyone who gave them a visit.

"Also a biiiig thank you to our stellar team and all the friends who helped us make this great start."
