New Edinburgh artisan 'Chocolate and Pastry Bar' opens its doors in the city centre

A brand new shop and cafe has opened its doors in Edinburgh's city centre - and it's a chocolate-lovers dream come true.

Doing exactly what it says on the tin, The Chocolate and Pastry Bar serves up, well, chocolate and pastries.

The new venue quietly opened two weeks ago on Queensferry Street but with so many people having paid a visit in the last few days, Chef Chiara Scipione has officially announced her first ever store in the capital.

Italian chef and chocolatier Chiara Scipione moved to Scotland five years ago and firmly believes that you should "care for people by cooking for them".

Photos from the store show delicately made pastries and intricate mini chocolates and bars ready to takeaway and enjoy but there is also space for four wee tables to enjoy afternoon tea.

Chiara also makes her very own hot chocolate 'bombs', the latest foodie trend taking social media by storm.

Want to see everything that Chiara has on offer? Visit the store at 36 Queensferry Street or place an online order here for hand delivery or collection.
