There's a new robot vacuum entering the crowded space from Ecovacs called the Deebot X11 Omnicyclone, and it seems to have every feature you can think of (and some that probably never even occurred to you). It definitely looks to be in contention to be one of the best robot vacuums on the market.
Perhaps most exciting is what the company calls its TruePass Adaptive 4WD Climbing System, which allows the vacuum to climb up to 4cm; however, that's just one of the features that make it stand out. Other features worth noting include a self-emptying base that eliminates the need for bags and a new roller mop technology.

In terms of raw features, you'll have a hard time finding more than the Deebot X11 Omnicyclone. I currently have the Deebot X9 Omni cleaning my house. The roller mop and its extra suction power have been a tremendous time-saver. The new X11 improves the two things I like most about the X9, which has me excited to try it.
Ecovacs refers to its new roller mop technology as the Ozmo Roller 2.0 system. Essentially, that means it's made of high-density nylon designed to break down dried stains, grease, and stubborn grime more effectively than other products it has offered in the past.
While I don't have to change the bag on my current Ecovacs model, it is nice that this one is doing away with bags completely, as it always seemed like an antiquated way to deal with leftover dirt — the best regular low-tech vacuums switched to mostly canisters for dust and dirt a long time ago.

If you're a regular robot vacuum user, you know that you still have to manually clean corners sometimes, as the robot struggles to reach them. And while I'm sure this one isn't perfect, Ecovacs does mention that it'll go 15mm into edges and corners, which could eliminate some of the manual cleaning you have to do.
Ecovacs is also making this model capable of cleaning larger homes more efficiently, thanks to its fast-charging technology. While emptying the dustbin and cleaning the mop, the fast charger enables the robot to maintain sufficient power for continuous cleaning, eliminating the need for long breaks to recharge during cleaning sessions.
Ecovacs Deebot X11 Omnicyclone price and availability
This robot vacuum is packed with numerous features. Like all things, those goodies come at a price — in this case, $1,499. It's available now on Amazon for $1,299 to coincide with the launch. You can snag one right away if the price-to-value ratio sounds good to you.
I'm excited about the features it offers; however, I won't be able to pass a final judgment until it's in my home and I can run it through some tests.
