INDORE: The Devi Ahilyabai Holkar airport will soon have a new domestic air cargo terminal. The Airports Authority of India’s Cargo Logistics and Allied Services Company Limited (AAICLAS) has started planning to operate a new domestic cargo terminal, which would also house a dedicated Centre for Perishable Cargo (CPC) and e-Commerce facilities.
The new cargo terminal is being planned on a 3-acre land near the recently-developed international cargo complex at the old terminal building of the Indore airport, with a capacity to handle at least double the amount of domestic cargo that is being handled by the AAICLAS at Indore airport.
