A new direct bus service between Nottingham and Chesterfield is being introduced.
From October 27, the new X1 Stagecoach Gold bus service will take customers between Chesterfield, Clay Cross, Alfreton, South Normanton and Nottingham.
The route also includes a new link from Nottingham to the East Midlands Designer Outlet.
To celebrate the launch of the new service, for the first week passengers can board for just one penny per journey between October 27 and November 2.
The Stagecoach Gold services will have wi-fi on board and contactless payment options.
The limited stop route will stop at Phoenix Business Park and the bus station at intu Victoria Centre.
Passengers can also use the Stagecoach bus app to plan journeys and pre-buy tickets.
Options include the £7 Explorer day ticket for unlimited trips all day on X1 and local Stagecoach buses as well as the Gold 7 day ticket for £23 per week which includes Pronto bus journeys.

“In fact, we are so confident that customers will love our Stagecoach Gold experience, that we are inviting everyone to try it for a penny during the first week.”
