- A national memorial for Queen Elizabeth II will feature a bronze statue of the monarch as a young woman in her Garter robes, inspired by the celebrated 1955 Pietro Annigoni portrait.
- Designed by Lord Foster, the central London tribute will be located at Marlborough Gate overlooking The Mall and include a family of gardens, meandering paths, and a new translucent glass bridge.
- A smaller companion statue of Prince Philip, depicted in his Naval uniform and at a similar age, will be positioned a few paces behind the Queen, reflecting his customary role.
- The 7.3-metre-high Queen's statue and 3.8-metre-high Prince Philip statue are expected to be completed by 2028.
- Alongside the physical memorial, two other projects have been launched: The Queen Elizabeth Trust, a grant-making charity, and a Digital Memorial for public memories of the late Queen.
