New date & time confirmed for Arsenal's trip to Leicester City after Gunners' win against Napoli

Arsenal's game against Leicester City has been rearranged after the Gunners qualified for the semi-final of the Europa League.

Unai Emery's side came away as 1-0 victors thanks to Alexandre Lacazette's free kick which sent the North London side through 3-0 on aggregate.

The Gunners will host Valencia in their semi-final first leg at the Emirates on the evening of May 2nd meaning the match against the Foxes had to be moved.

The match was originally scheduled for the preceding Monday but will now be played on the Sunday lunch time (April 28 12.00pm).

The controversial Champions League format changes set to hit Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and others

Qualification in the Europa League means that a busy schedule continues and that they will have played midweek matches for five consecutive weeks.

Such a brutal schedule often leads to injuries and Arsenal received a big blow against Napoli on Thursay.

Aaron Ramsey was forced off the Sao Paulo stadium pitch after stretching to reach in for a high tackle on Napoli's Piotr Zielinski.

Unai Emery has said that he does not know if the Welshman had played his last game before leaving for Juventus this summer.
