New date for Nottingham Forest's clash with Luton Town announced - due to live TV coverage

Nottingham Forest’s Championship clash with Luton Town has been selected for live TV coverage.

And that means the date for the match at the City Ground has been moved to a new date.

The game will now take place on Sunday, January 19, with a kick-off time of 12pm, to be shown live on Sky Sports.

It was originally scheduled for the previous day - Saturday, January 18.

The Reds will be looking to do the double over the Hatters, having toppled them 2-1 at Kenilworth Road last month.

Goals from Lewis Grabban and Sammy Ameobi clinched the three points for Sabri Lamouchi’s men on that occasion.

The new date will make for a short turnaround for Forest, as they are currently due to face Reading in a rearranged clash little more than 48 hours later - on Tuesday, January 21.

The clash with the Royals at the City Ground was originally postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
