New dad Joe Jonas makes urgent request to fans to give him a huge birthday gift

Joe Jonas took to social media to beg his fans to give him the one gift only they could this year as he responded to a wave of support from admirers.

The American singer celebrated turning 31-years-old on Saturday and was clearly feeling in a celebratory mood as he interacted with fans.

The new dad – who welcomed a baby girl named Willa with 24-year-old British actress wife Sophie Turner last month – had a request for all his fans that were aged 18 or over come November 3rd.

Cake By The Ocean singer Joe urged those old enough in the USA to vote at the upcoming 2020 Presidential election saying that it would make his “year” if they complied.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday afternoon, he responded to well wishers, writing: “Feeling the love today!”

He then added: “If you wanna get me anything this year... if you can... VOTE.”

The 2020 Presidential elections are due to be held on 3 November 2020.

And the race for power has proven to be one of the most sensational ever in the past few months – as current President Donald Trump has seen opponent Joe Biden of the Democratic Party strengthen his campaign by appointing US Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate.

While the shock addition of Kanye West in to the election stampede has been creating shock waves ever since he threw his hat in to the ring on 4 July.

America has seen huge social unrest in recent months amid chaotic coronavirus lockdown measures – and anger and protests over police brutality in the wake of the death of George Floyd in May.

President Trump has antagonised some of his critics with his response to the coronavirus health crisis and threats to deploy the National Guard to confront protesters.

While others fear the Democratic party have weakened their own approach after some politicians linked to the party – such as divisive politicianAlexandria Ocasio-Cortez – spoke out in support of defunding police departments in the USA.

While Kanye's campaign has been fraught with controversy after he used his first rally to suggest he and wife Kim Kardashian considered aborting their first child, North West, has ruffled opinions over his views in relation to abortion, and has endured several high profile Twitter meltdowns in the weeks since his campaign was announced.
