
Forty graduates of the Takarazuka Music School in Takarazuka, Hyogo Prefecture, hold flowers as they pose for photos at their graduation ceremony on Friday. The principal presented diplomas to each of the young women, all clad in traditional black crested montsuki kimono and green hakama trousers. After two years of training, mainly in acting, dancing and singing, they will make their stage debuts as "Takarasiennes," as members of the all-female Takarazuka Revue are known, in mid-April.
