Three sites in Goulburn and one in Marulan have been identified as potential exposure sites of COVID-19, after a positive case of the virus visited the locations on Tuesday.

Bunnings Goulburn and KFC Marulan have both been listed as at risk for the possible transmission of coronavirus by NSW Health.

Anyone who visited Bunnings Goulburn on July 20 between 12.30pm and 12.45pm is now considered a close contact of the positive case and must immediately get tested and self-isolate for 14 days.

Anyone who was at KFC Marulan on July 20 between 1.30pm and 1.50pm is also considered a close contact and must immediately get tested and self-isolate for 14 days.

In two seperate Goulburn locations there was only one interaction between limited staff and the positive case, NSW Health said.

NSW Health has identified three contacts from these sites and all three returned negative test results overnight. No more details on the locations have been released.

Staff at both Bunnings and KFC will be tested for coronavirus on Friday and visitors who checked in to the venues will receive a text message from NSW Health notifying them of their potential exposure.

Additional cleaning was being undertaken at both venues on Friday.

The visit from the positive case on Tuesday is an addition to a health alert which went out earlier in the week, identifying the Shell Coles Express in Goulburn as a venue of concern.
