Today marks seven years since Jan Vertonghen first arrived in north London following his move from Ajax.
Catching the eye for the Dutch giants and Belgium with his commanding performances at the back, the defender signed on the dotted line in a deal worth £9.5million.
Vertonghen was Andre Villas-Boas' second signing at the club after Gylfi Sigurdsson and he has since remained in N17 over the past seven years.
The 32-year-old has been an absolute revelation during his time with the Lilywhites and the money the club paid Ajax has turned out to be an absolute snip.
Developing such a good understanding with Toby Alderweireld at the heart of defence, the player has also impressed when he's had to move to left-back, as was the case in the stunning 3-0 win over Borussia Dortmund back in February as he created the first goal before doubling the lead shortly after.

Vertonghen's deal actually expires at the end of the upcoming campaign and Spurs fans are hopeful he will extend his stay at the club once again following his last contract extension in December.
Tottenham tweeted out a video on Friday celebrating the player's seven years at the club and a large amount of fans responded by telling the club that he should be given a new deal.
