The latest Scottish government figures have revealed 61 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Lothians area since Monday, taking the total to 269.
However, the government have noted that the steep increase may be due to delays in reporting figures over the weekend.
There are also 547 cases of coronavirus in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, 214 in Tayside and 76 in Fife.
The Scottish Government has also confirmed that 13 more people have died from coronavirus, taking the death toll to 60.
The number of confirmed cases has also jumped by 430, with 1,993 patients having now tested positive for the deadly virus.
27 additional patients have also been moved to intensive care units.
Meanwhile, a further 1073 hospitalised patients are suspected of having the virus.
The country remains in lockdown with measures aimed to cut social contact by at least 75% in an aim to slow the spread of the virus.
Police have been cracking down on rule-breakers, with officers fining and sending away drivers in Edinburgh beauty spots who were in breach of lockdown rules.
