Lieutenant General J.S. Sidana has taken over as the Commandant of the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad, with effect from April 1.
He was earlier the Deputy Commandant and chief instructor of MCEME.
He is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy and was commissioned into the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (EME) on December 14, 1985.
In a career spanning over 37 years, the General Officer has held a variety of important regimental, command, instructional and staff appointments in the Indian Army., said a press release on Thursday.
