The fun of Christmas is over and many of us are left watching the pennies.

Cutting back on spending in January can be tricky, but Co-op's latest offer is about to make things a whole lot things easier.

The supermarket chain's popular £5 frozen meal deal, which lets you to bag a bundle of frozen items for a fiver, is back for 2020.

This time customers can pick up Birds-Eye breaded chicken breasts, fish fingers, chicken burgers, potato alphabites, Rowntrees Fruit Pastilles lollies and Co-op British garden peas.

Meaning you get a whopping six items for just £5 - and there's enough to feed the whole family.

The same bundle of items would normally cost £10.20 if you purchased it on a different month at Co-op, so you save £5.20 with the deal.

There's also a way students can get the whole lot even cheaper, as Co-op gives student card holders a 10% discount, so they'll only have to pay £4.75.

The offer was recently spotted on deals sharing site LatestDeals.co.uk , where bargain hunters showed their appreciation for the bundle.

Tom Church, Co-Founder of deals site LatestDeals.co.uk said: "Co-op's £5 frozen meal deal is back! It always offers good value for money, especially for families. Normally you would be paying £10.20 for all of it."
