New club enters race to sign Nottingham Forest forward - reports

Another Championship club have reportedly taken an interest in signing Nottingham Forest forward Albert Adomah.

Reports on Thursday linked Cardiff City with a move for the 32-year-old who is in his first season at the City Ground.

Now a report in The Sun claims that Huddersfield Town have entered the race for the former Aston Villa winger’s signature.

Adomah, who joined Forest from Villa on a free transfer, has made 24 appearances for Sabri Lamouchi's promotion-chasers this season mostly off the substitute's bench.

He has scored twice and assisted once in the Championship, with the last of those coming at the end of August.

Lamouchi has preferred to go with fellow summer signing Sammy Ameobi, which has left Adomah having to settle for a place on the bench most matches.

Forest have already added three new players to their squad during this month’s window – Adama Diakhaby on loan from Huddersfield, Nuno da Costa on a permanent deal from Strasbourg and Gaetan Bong from Brighton.

Deadline day has already seen Forest linked with a loan move for Newcastle United winger Christian Atsu.
