The 29-year-old told Express Sport: “I couldn’t be more excited to get back on the ice after an almost six month off-season.
“Some of us started chatting this week leading up to camp and I feel everyone is eager to get on the ice and start the hard work towards hopefully a championship season.
“My wife and I are super excited to begin another journey in a new country in Europe.
“Friends and family we’ve talked to have told us Scotland is one of the most amazing countries they’ve experienced, so to hear that only adds to the excitement.
“All in all I think Scotland on and off the ice is going to exceed my expectations, which is a great feeling.”
Clan’s head coach Malcolm Cameron also arrived into the country over the weekend.
He’s determined to drill his new players into a winning side now the squad are all finally together in the same place.
Cameron said: “It’s great to finally arrive in Scotland and now we can focus on doing what needs to be done to get ready for the new season.
“After so much talking and preparing, it’s good to be here at last and I can’t wait to get everyone together and finally get this show rolling.
“I’ll take a day or two to settle in but, now that I’m here, the work is starting and it’s time to do what we do best.”
