Fans of fried food (and aren't we all fans of fried food in winter?) might want to sit up and take notice, because a brand-new chippy has opened in Edinburgh's New Town.
Called West End Scran, the eatery sells everything you'd expect a chippy to offer - fish suppers, haggis suppers and chips and cheese, for example.
However, they also sell some pretty awesome and creative pizzas, including a Braveheart pizza, featuring haggis, sliced baked potatoes and brown sauce. Other very Scottish menu options include a Highlander burger, with cheese, haggis and a potato fritter.
Fancy something indulgent but also vegetarian? Check out their macaroni cheese pizza, with a macaroni cream cheese base, grated mozzarella cheese and cheddar.
They also sell doner kebab pizzas and calzones.
