Alexander Milosevic has posted a farewell message following his departure from Nottingham Forest.
The 27-year-old centre-back has left the City Ground by mutual consent, without making a single first-team appearance for the Reds this season.
Milosevic joined Forest in February from Swedish side AIK Solna, and made 12 appearances under Martin O’Neill in the second half of last season.
However, the defender didn’t feature under new manager Sabri Lamouchi, with his last appearance for Forest coming in the final league game against Bolton Wanderers in May.
Under Sabri Lamouchi , Michael Dawson and Joe Worrall has been preferred centre-back pairing, with Chema and Tobias Figueiredo both getting opportunities following Dawson’s injury.
The Reds also have Yohan Benalouane and Michael Hefele on their books, though both are also currently ruled out through injury .
Now that the news of Milosevic’s departure has been confirmed, the defender has taken to social media to post a goodbye message to Reds supporters, thanking them for their backing his since arrival on Trentside.
“Thank you to the club Nottingham Forest, and with the club I mean the fans, you were fantastic to me,” said Milosevic.
He added: “All the best in the future, time for a new chapter. #SoonBackWithABang .”
