New change that will affect people shopping at Cheshire Oaks designer outlet village

Shoppers visiting McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Cheshire Oaks can take advantage of a new initiative that’s launched today.

The popular shopping village is helping people do their bit for the environment with a new clothing recycling scheme.

McArthurGlen has partnered with CTR Group to help tackle textile waste by giving shoppers the opportunity to get rid of their unwanted clothes responsibly.

Every single item that is donated will either be reused, re-worn or re-cycled, meaning there will be less waste going into landfill.

People who want to take advantage of the Recycle Your Fashion initiative, can bring a bag of unwanted clothes into Cheshire Oaks and they will receive a 10% voucher, with a maximum of two bags per person, per day. The voucher can be used in selected stores in the centre, encouraging people to shop consciously and opt for ‘investment’ pieces that will last longer, over cheap fast fashion.

The proceeds from each bag of recycled garments, will be donated to Cheshire Oaks’ chosen local charity, Passion For Learning.
