New Celtic chief exec Dominic McKay to meet with Hoops fans today

New chief executive Dominic McKay will meet with Celtic fans as a new era is ushered in at Parkhead.

The former SRU supremo officially took over from Peter Lawwell last month, having left his previous role with Scottish rugby earlier than anticipated - and one of his priorities is to get the club's disgruntled support firmly back onside.

The club's supporter's liaison officer, John Paul Taylor, has confirmed that McKay and Lawwell will meet with the members of the Hoops fanbase as they continue to sift through the rubble of a disastrous season.

There is a fan forum this afternoon, scheduled for 4pm, with Taylor confirming both Lawwell, and his successor, due to be in attendance:

McKay will no doubt face questions over the ongoing search for Neil Lennon's replacement, transfer funds to rebuild a decimated squad and the rift between the club and fans group The Green Brigade.

It remains to be seen if the meeting will provide any update on the potential appointment of former Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe, who has been continually linked with the Celtic hot-seat since Lennon's departure on February 24.
