A brand new 'cannabis cafe' is set to open in Edinburgh next month, serving a selection of 'infused' products as well as healthy food and drinks.
Vitality and Kynd have announced they will be welcoming customers from October 9 in their brand new Leven Street cafe that has been recently refurbished.
The menu is set to very varied, with the cafe stating they will be selling 'cannabis infused options', edibles, CBD oils and a selection of hemp teas.
However, the shop have made it very clear that the site will not be "the smoky and hazy coffee shop you’d find across the tightly weaved streets of Amsterdam", and will actually be selling legal hemp products.
According to the cafe, customers will be able to nourish their 'body and soul' as they enjoy the cannabis products alongside a plant-based food and drinks menu.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Vitality & Kynd described their new venture as a 'delight', despite opening in one of the most challenging times the country has faced.
They said: "After years of careful planning the idea of a coffee shop serving legal cannabis and CBD products has finally become a reality.
"It’s not the smoky and hazy coffee shop you’d find across the tightly weaved streets of Amsterdam but the cafe has some big ideas in bring cannabis products to the public.
"We will be serving a plant based menu with hints of avocado on sourdough and creatively made pancakes as part of its food service, alongside freshly ground coffees, artisan teas and juices.
"But the real crowd puller will be the dedicated cannabis menu. It will be a real delight for those who appreciate the vast variety of flavour and smells cannabis has to offer."
