New Call of Duty trailer reveals potential changes to Warzone map

Potential changes to Warzone's map has been revealed in the new Black Ops Cold War Season Six cinematic trailer.

It also shows some new weapons that may be coming to the game next season.

The trailer starts off in an interrogation room almost identical to the iconic room from the first Black Ops game.

Adler, who has been revealed to come back as a playable Operator, is seemingly under the effects of brainwashing by Perseus.

While Mason helps Adlers come back to his senses, Stitch and an unnamed ally are defusing several bombs that were planted under Verdansk.

Despite some bombs being defused, a large explosion destroys the Stadium in Verdask and appears to take most of the Downtown area with it.

Stitch comforts Mason who is left distraught by his actions, despite committing the act under brainwashing.

The developers have hinted that Adler and Stitch will have a final showdown as they both return to the franchise in Season Six.

The trailer also features Adler wielding an unknown bolt action rifle, hinting that it could be a new weapon in the new season.

If the map changes in Warzone follow the events of the trailer, that could mean that Stadium will completely disappear.

The point of interest (POI) has gone through many changes since the game first released last year, such as having its roof removed and being downsized.

Like with all updates to Warzone, the new Operators and weapons will come free of charge.

However, it is likely that players may have to complete challenges and milestones to unlock them.

Season Six will most likely be launching around Thursday, October 7.
