Covid vaccine calculator predicts when you should receive the jab

Thousands of people had been vaccinated across Nottinghamshire and a new calculator helps predict when you could be getting yours.

A total of 16,875,536 people in the UK have now received a first dose of Covid-19 vaccine, according to Government figures published on February 19.

This is the equivalent of 25.3% of the total UK population, and 32.0% of people aged 18 and over.

In Nottinghamshire, those currently eligible to receive the vaccine are:

People aged over 65

Clinically Extremely Vulnerable, Clinically Vulnerable or a carer

Housebound residents

A resident in a care home or long term residential facility

Frontline health and social care worker

Where can you get vaccinated in Nottinghamshire:

Health services are delivering the vaccine in Hospital Hubs and Local Vaccination Services across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. There is also have a larger scale vaccination centre in Mansfield.

The hospital hubs are: Queen’s Medical Centre, City Hospital and King’s Mill Hospital. 

The local vaccination services are:

Ashfield Health Village

Cripps Health Centre

Forest Recreation Ground

Gamston Community Centre

King’s Meadow Campus

Newark Showground

Richard Herrod Centre

Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI)  advises that the first priorities for the Covid vaccination programme should be the prevention of mortality and the maintenance of the health and social care systems.

It's recommended list of those who should received the vaccine first is below.

You can see when you will likely receive the vaccine using the calculator below.

The JCVI list is as follows, in order of priority:

1) Residents in a care home for older adults and their carers
2) All those 80 years of age and over and frontline health and social care workers
3) All those 75 years of age and over
4) All those 70 years of age and over and clinically extremely vulnerable individuals
5) All those 65 years of age and over
6) All individuals aged 16 to 64 years with underlying health conditions which put them at higher risk of serious disease and mortality
7) All those 60 years of age and over
8) All those 55 years of age and over
9) All those 50 years of age and over
