New cake shop and cafe opens on Glasgow's High Street - and it's putting its own twist on the doner kebab

Sweet-toothed foodies, we've got some good news.

A new cafe and cake shop has open on Glasgow's High Street - and it comes with one very special twist.

The Chimney Cake Corporation is offering up traditional Hungarian chimney cakes with every kind of topping, from chocolate, strawberry and sprinkles - and even doner kebab for those who prefer savoury treats!

We’re salivating already …

They are even serving up a Christmas special called Santa's Chimney, complete with sweet mince, vanilla ice cream and smothered in mascarpone cream, topped off with a fruit flavoured candy cane.

The new venture, opened by a husband and wife duo, claims to be Scotland's first chimney cake atelier.

There you have it, folks - save room for dessert this month, because calories don't count in December right?
