A new French cafe is opening on Allerton Road in south Liverpool.
Petit Café Du Quartier is the sister business of Petit Café Du Coin on Berry Street.
After nearly five years, the cafe is now expanding with its new Petit Café Du Quartie which will serve brunch, coffee, wine, cocktails and small plates.

A Petit Café spokesperson told the ECHO: “Petit Café Du Quartier will be very much like it’s Berry Street sister but with an expanded day time food offering tailored for the local neighbourhood.

"Petit Café Du Quartier will serve brunch from 10am and then some beautiful small plates from lunchtime until early evening, when the kitchen will close and the live Jazz will start, but our signature cheese boards and charcuterie will be available throughout the night.
"We’re hoping to have a regular line up of music, just like Petit Café Du Coin on Berry Street and it’ll be on a minimum of four nights a week.”
Petit Café customers are delighted by the news of the new cafe, with many replying beneath the announcement made on the Petit Café Du Coin Instagram page.
One said: "Oh my word this is great news!" with another adding: "How amazing welcome to south Liverpool"
A third wrote: "this is perfect!!!"
