New burger restaurant Fat Hippo is opening in Liverpool later this year.
The company is loved for its quirky flavours including the PB&J beef burger, which comes topped with peanut butter and bacon jam.
It has a group of eight independent burger restaurants in Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham and the North East.
Now, the company has decided to launch a new venue on Bold Street in Liverpool, which is due to open this month.
The restaurant will be in the former STA Travel premises, which closed after the travel company went into administration last summer.
Once open, people can look forward to tucking into signature beef and boneless buttermilk chicken patties, that come with fries as standard, with classic options alongside the quirkier choices.
There will also be a range of vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options available plus a kids menu.
Michael Phillips, who founded Fat Hippo in the North East in 2010 said: "The last year has been difficult for all businesses, especially the hospitality sector, but we couldn't turn down the opportunity to bring Fat Hippo to Liverpool city centre.
"The building on Bold Street is the perfect location for our restaurant, and we're so excited to be able to welcome everyone for a taste of 'the good kind of gluttony'."
Fat Hippo will also be launching on Deliveroo so people can enjoy Fat Hippo's food at home.
Michael Johnson, the company's operations manager, said: "It's been an incredible ride over the last 10 years feeding the ever-growing herd of burger lovers and now we can't wait to bring the best burgers to Liverpool."
