A brand new Burger King has opened this week ... and they're going to be celebrating the launch in style with 1,000 Glaswegians.
BK has arrived at the Forge Retail Park and there are 1,000 free Whoppers up for grabs to mark the occasion. The deal lasts until this coming Friday, however, we're pretty sure the burgers will all be snapped up before then.
To claim a Whopper, all you have to do is show your voucher on the Burger King app at the Drive Thru, titled 'Glasgow only: opening special’.
The Burger King branch opened this morning in the east end of Glasgow, creating 30 new jobs in the local area.
The BK team announced this morning: "Glasgow has become the latest home of the Whopper, with a brand-new Burger King restaurant opening its doors on Forge Retail Park, 5 Biggar Street, Glasgow, G31 4BH, creating 30 new job roles in the local area.
"To share the excitement with hungry locals who want to eat like the King himself, 1000* free Whoppers are up for grabs for a week from Monday February 1 – Friday February 1.
"To claim yours, simply download the Burger King app once doors open, head on down to the Drive Thru, and show the voucher on the app titled ‘Glasgow only: Opening special’ for your free Whopper.
"And while you’re there, why not check out the range of flame grilled burgers, crispy and tender chicken and snack options including Chilli Cheese Bites and Chicken Fries. Try the Jalapeno Chicken Fries for an extra spicy kick!"
