A busy weekend of roster moves kept the Cleveland Browns equipment staff working hard through Labor Day to get the new players their jerseys. Six new Browns joined the team over the weekend, and they now all have their official jersey numbers on the active roster.
The newcomers and their jerseys:
WR KhaDarel Hodge – 12
LB Malik Jefferson – 40
OG Justin McCray – 67
TE Ricky Seals-Jones – 83
WR Taywan Taylor – 10
OG Wyatt Teller – 77
In addition to the newcomers, rookie safety Sheldrick Redwine officially took over Duke Johnson’s old No. 29 on the roster. He had been wearing No. 33 in the preseason. All of the other players kept their preseason numbers.
