New Bristol steakhouse Cow & Sow opening date announced

A new steakhouse ‘with a twist’ coming to Bristol city centre next year has announced its opening date.

The contemporary chophouse, which is replacing Graze next to Queen Square, is described as a 'beautiful bar, restaurant and chophouse' which is 'perfect for all-day dining' on its website.

It will be the ideal spot for 'cocktails with friends, lazy afternoons with a glass of fizz in hand and weekend brunches with a Bloody Mary or two,' adds information on the website.

The restaurant is owned by Mark Warburton, managing director of the OHH Pub Company, which runs a number of popular pubs near Bristol including The Rising Sun in Backwell and the Bear & Swan in Chew Magna.

He described Cow & Sow as the ‘next step’ for his family business, as he brings what he labels a 'new and exciting concept' to central Bristol.

Mark said: "I have been a huge fan of the Bristol dining scene and hope to fill a gap in the market for a steak restaurant with a twist.

"No big brand, no airs and graces… simply great!"

Steak fans have reasons to be excited as Cow & Sow promises to use only the best quality ingredients and produce from the local area for its all-day dining menu, featuring wonderfully presented cuts of steak and pork.

The new eatery will open its doors on January 14, 2022, and keen foodies can book their tables in advance on the Cow & Sow website - ensuring they're first to try the premium steaks.
