The new-beaut $500,000 one being built at Ryrie Park at the top of the main street is still under construction and won't be finished until later this year.
Instead, vandals graffitied new playground equipment at the Braidwood Recreation Ground this week.
Staff from the Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council have worked hard to remove the paint and the playground is still due to open Friday.
