A new Bishopton school has finally been completed and will welcome pupils in January after months of delays.
Dargavel Primary was originally due to open in August but the project suffered multiple hold-ups leaving parents furious.
Prospective pupils have in the meantime had to attend Bishopton Primary while wearing their own uniforms and receiving lessons from their new teachers.
But after a frustrating wait, BAE Systems has now confirmed construction is finished and the school has been handed over to Renfrewshire Council for final preparations before it opens on January 6.

The school will have capacity for 440 pupils and features a purpose-built gym hall, external learning areas, and a floodlit multi-use games area.
Carly Butler, secretary of Dargavel Primary Parent Council, said: "We are absolutely delighted our school is ready. It looks incredible.
"The children are very lucky and we are very excited for them to join their new school in January.
"Thanks to everyone for their part in making this happen and to Bishopton Primary for accommodating us in the meantime.
The parent council has been involved in regular forums with Renfrewshire Council, BAE Systems and Robertson Construction - which was responsible for the build - since problems first arose during summer.
After a delay to the August opening date, families were told the school would open in October but it was then pushed back a second time, with Robertson blaming the coronavirus lockdown for causing issues.
The school has been built to cater for BAE's new Dargavel Village housing development which will contain 4,000 new homes by 2034.
Jon Gettinby, head of the Bishopton programme at BAE, said: “The completion of Dargavel Primary is another major milestone in the ongoing development of Dargavel Village.
"We recognise how important the new school is to the local community and the impact it will have on future generations to come.
"Despite the significant impact of the pandemic, we have worked closely with Renfrewshire Council and Robertson Construction to deliver the new school in time to open for its first pupils in the new year."
A council spokesman said: “Staff have been working hard to support pupils and their parents and carers as part of the transition to the new school which will open at the start of the new term next year and preparations are well advanced.
“Our focus is on supporting our pupils through this transition. We are mindful of the delays the project has encountered over recent months but we would like to thank pupils and the wider school community for their patience and support.
"The new building will house a fantastic learning environment provided by our school team and we look forward to the new year and a new start.”
