Plans have been submitted for the creation of a beach bar in Bristol city centre.
Notices have appeared on lampposts in Broadmead which reveal details of the proposed bar, which will also host live music events and film screenings if the plans are approved by Bristol City Council.
The notice reads: "Notice is hereby given that Freeman & Schmidt Limited has applied in respect of the Bristol Beach Bar at Bristol Broadmead Shopping Centre Bristol BS1 3EA, for the grant of a new premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following:
"This is a time limited application for a period between June and September to cover the sale and supply of alcohol, films, the performance of live music and recorded music, for the purpose of a themed beach bar, as per the plan enclosed with the application."
If approved, the temporary bar will be allowed to serve alcohol and play recorded music between 10am and 10pm every day, with live music permitted between 3pm until 10pm Wednesday - Sunday.
Films will be allowed to be screened from 3pm until 10pm Tuesday to Sunday.

According to Companies House, the United Kingdom's registrar of companies, Freeman & Schmidt Limited is a private company headed up by Elliot Freeman and Sven Schmidt, who live in Essex and Dorset respectively.
The company was incorporated on April 17 2018.
BS1 3EA is the postcode for a number of city centre businesses including Boots and Barclays, so it is likely that the bar will be in this area if proposals are given the green light.
