A new mural is being created in the Battlefield area of Glasgow's south side - and it bears a striking resemblance to one of Glasgow's most iconic signs.
The mural is being created on the side of the Common Ground Cafe on Battlefield Road, and the artist behind the new sign is recreating the famous Barrowland Ballroom neon sign in the east end in homage to one of the most recognisable landmarks in our city.
Common Ground has shared the process of the exciting new artwork in an Instagram video, but has otherwise been tightlipped about the project, which is the work of Scottish Graffiti Murals.
However, it hasn't stopped the new mural catching the attention of the local community, with the sign set to be complete by the end of today.
