Blockbuster Video posters have appeared in the windows of a former southside cafe... And the stunt has set tongues wagging.
The old-school posters have been spotted in the Gray's Kitchen shopfront in Pollokshaws Road.
We thought it unlikely a video shop would be reopening on the high street in the age of Netflix but, it's 2020: Stranger things happen.
Gray's sadly announced it would be closing "until further notice" before lockdown and its sign has been painted over... But it looks like a new bar, The Luchador, is now taking over the premises.
"It’s official. We have the keys. Southside here we come!" bosses announced on Instagram.
We don't have much info or an opening date at the moment, but Luchador boss Ritchie Davies owns American-style dive bar Abandon Ship in Dundee, which serves up soul food, beer and cocktails... So we're expecting big things from this new venture.
