A new sports bar has opened in Liverpool city centre with 14 flat screen TVs and an American themed menu.
Pepper Cat Sports will be screening events including the Champions League final and the Euros, plus UFC fights, major golf, NFL, NBA, racing, rugby and Box Office events such as the Joshua V Fury boxing match.
The venue, which is located beneath Slim’s on Bold Street, is also available for private hire from June 21, restrictions permitting, with a capacity of 60 and can be booked any day when there are no major sporting events.
On the menu, customers will find PCS chicken wings, Salt & Pepper ribs, BBQ corn ribs, Peppercats Double Cheeseburger, Peppercats Cornflake Chicken Burger, Peppercats Vegan Burger, Korean Hot Dog, Slim’s famous Lo Pan Fries with fried Sui Mai, curry sauce char sui and salt and pepper seasoning.
The venue has an incredibly popular £10 Wings Wednesday deal, allowing guests to chow down on unlimited wings including Salt & Pepper, Buffalo hot sauce and BBQ glaze while they watch the match. There’s also buffalo cauli wings for vegans and vegetarians.
The bar is currently open for selected sporting events only with bookings essential as seats are limited and in high demand. Some events are also ticketed.
The venue is already sold out for the Champions League Final but other events that are available to book now via Instagram @peppercatsports include:
- England v Croatia 13/6/21 @ 3pm
- France v Germany 15/6/21 @ 9pm

“We do have limited tables available but these are in high demand and so we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.”

Nick Thomas, director of Pepper Cat Sports, added: “We want all of our guests to feel like they are home from home in the bar, and we want them to interact and play a major part in the atmosphere, and even the decor! From beer pong to darts tournaments, to donating memorabilia for our walls in return for a drink on us, we want it to be as much yours as it is ours.
“We’re looking forward to a summer of no restrictions and some great sporting events.”
