A new baby girl could be forced to use the name of a Stenhousemuir player after he netted against Elgin .
Andy Newman, from Coventry, contacted Sky Sports Soccer Saturday presenter Jeff Stelling saying his daughter was about to have a baby and they were struggling to find a name for her.
Andy said the family decided to contemplate using the first name of the first goalscorer in the 3pm kick-offs around the UK .
That goal came from Greig Spence who netted in the first minute of Stenhousemuir 's League Two clash against Elgin City at Borough Briggs.
The former Arbroath star led his side to a 3-2 victory over City to lift them to eighth in the league table above Albion Rovers.
Prior to the games kicking off, Jeff Stelling said: "They are struggling to think of a name for their baby daughter.
"He's contemplating using the first name of the first goalscorer in the three o'clock kick-offs today.
"That is dangerous, but we will keep an eye on it."
Just one minute into the afternoon games Greig Spence scored.
However, Stelling seemed a little confused and told viewers the name of the first goalscorer in Birmingham.
Their game against Cardiff kicked off at the same time as Stenhousemuir but Jude Bellingham's goal actually came a couple of minutes after Spence's goal.
Stelling told viewers: "Jude is the first goal of the three o'clockers and that's not too bad at all.
"Jude Newman, that has a certain ring to it."
The Newman family have not yet confirmed which name they are choosing.
