New Avengers: Endgame footage shown at CinemaCon - what it showed

There's not long to go now until Avengers: Endgame 's release in cinemas, which means we're finally getting a look at what to expect.

Anticipation is the highest it's ever been for the April 25/26 release so it's understandable that fans are eager for any news.

That news came at CinemaCon where audiences were shown a bit of new footage.

From the gist of it, it sounds like the footage was the same as what was shown to the Disney shareholders a little while ago.

But now a few websites and fan sites have published a description of what they saw.

io9 reports the footage showed the Avengers standing quietly as Captain Marvel goes to leave them room.

Captain America asks where she's off to. "To kill Thanos," she replies.

"Wait," says Black Widow. “We usually work as a team.”

"We know you’re important up there but this is our fight too," Captain America adds. “How do you plan on finding him? Do you know where he is?”

Captain Marvel replied: “I know people who might know.”

Nebula pipes up admitting she knows where Thanos is. Thanos tortured her over the year, telling her his plan and he mentioned a garden.

“Great, Thanos has a Retirement plan,” Rhody says.

Rocket interjects saying when Thanos snapped it sent out an energy field unlike anything seen before.

Two days ago another planet showed something similar.

The team realise Thanos has used the stones again.

“So let’s go get them and use them to bring everyone back,” says Captain Marvel.

Black Widow says they all owe the dead to try, but Bruce Banner is worried as they're down in numbers - he questions how they can do this.

“You didn’t have me,” says Captain Marvel.

“Hey new girl, everyone here is about that superhero life,” Rhody says. He asks her where she's been.

“There are a lot of other planets out there,” she replies, “and not many are lucky enough to have you guys.”

Thor now speaks up. He has thrown his hammer, walks over to Captain Marvel and gets it back seeing she hasn't flinched.

“I like this one,” he says.

“Let’s go get the son of a bitch," Captain America orders.

They all fly off to the Benatar.

“How many of you have never been to space before?” asks Rocket.

A few raise their hands up prompting him to reply.

“Well, don’t throw up in my ship,” he says. Cue countdown before they jump.

Avengers: Endgame is released in cinemas on April 25, 2019 and April 26, 2019 in the USA.
