In the wake of one of the most impactful free agency periods in recent NBA history, Nike is now set to release the latest LeBron 16 colorway. Scheduled to drop on August 29 for a retail price of $160 according to Sole Collector, the “Atomic Violet” Nike LeBron 16 Low offers a fresh new take on James’ latest signature sneaker.
The upper of this shoe is styled in various shades of purple. A soft pastel purple colors the base while a darker shade of purple accents the branded designs on the tongue, toebox and heel. On the inner part of the heel tab there is a No. 23 embroidered in purple with gold trim. The insole is decorated with Lakers gold as well, highlighted by the No. 16 in Roman Numerals with LeBron’s initials woven throughout.
It’s reasonable to assume that the “Atomic Violet” design will be one of the last LeBron 16 colorways released prior to next year’s signature shoe hitting retail stores. The LeBron 17 is expected to drop either late-summer or early fall of this year.
