New artworks unveiled in Glasgow’s south side in bid to ‘Keep Shawlands Braw’

New artwork has been installed in Glasgow's south side to help promote and improve the area.

My Shawlands, the business improvement district, teamed up with local businessman and artist Stephen O’Neil to create bespoke artwork to line the streets of Shawlands.

A number of different pictures have been printed on street light banners which depict places in the south side.

From Pollokshaws East Station, the old Corona Bar, and south side tenements, Stephen has captured the best of the the area to 'Keep Shawlands Braw'.

My Shawlands has been operating for two years and coordinates a number of events and improvement works to the local area funded by the businesses of Shawlands who want to see the high street living up to its maximum potential.
