New arcade bar with classic consoles and retro games to open inside former Aloha

A new bar is set to open inside the former Aloha and its completely dedicated to retro arcade games.

NQ64 is set to open this September inside the former tiki bar on Colquitt Street as an underground drinking den filled with retro games and classic consoles.

The arcade will offer a trip down memory lane for visitors, with 80s classics like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong and Space Invaders and 90s favourites such as the N64, Megadrive and SNES.

NQ64 Liverpool is the sister bar to the Manchester site which opened earlier this year and will follow in style with specially selected beers and themed cocktails on the menu.

Aloha closed unexpectedly in June after nine years in the city centre, leaving an emotional message to customers.

NQ64 is set to open at the end of September.
