New angle shows Rangers winger Jake Hastie's superstrike for Rotherham against Sunderland

Jake Hastie is fast becoming a Rotherham fans' favourite after making it three goals from as many games on Tuesday.

The Rangers winger is on loan at the English League One side and continued his rich run of form as he slammed home the equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Sunderland .

Hastie found space on the left had side of the box before firing an unstoppable shot past Scotland international Jon McLaughlin in the Black Cats' goal.

The 20-year-old has been in sparkling form for the Millers since making the move last month.

He scored in his debut against Doncaster and again in his second match - a 6-1 rout of Bolton - before Tuesday night's strike.

Rotherham boss Paul Warne has been particularly impressed with Hastie - and described him as part of his "dream package".

Warne said: "As a manager I like playing with wingers and we had to wait for the ones we really wanted, but Hastie down the right and Chieodozie Ogbene down the left would be the dream package for me.

"Unfortunately Chieo is out for a while, but Jake was really enthusiastic with his play and he'll go down the outside to get crosses in. From deep positions he drives inside too and he was a thorn in the opposition's side all afternoon."
