New American Candy store set to take over former H&M in Liverpool

A new American Candy store is set to open its doors in Liverpool city centre.

An American Candy shop looks set to take over an empty unit on Church Street - which was once occupied by H&M.

The major retailer closed the doors to its Church Street and Paradise Street stores back in 2018 in order to relocate.

After months of speculation and waiting, H&M made the move to a larger site inside the former BHS building on Lord Street in November 2018.

After more than three years of the unit being empty, signs have now gone up to announce the arrival of a new venue.

In the window of the store, signs featuring logos for American brands Mike and Ike, Pop Tarts and more, alongside the store name ‘American Candy’.

Through the window, the site looks to still be under construction.

An official opening date has not yet been announced. Further information is expected soon.
