New Amazing Welsh Homes glossy magazine is now available to buy in shops and order online

Our new Amazing Welsh Homes magazine has launched and is now available to buy in certain shops and order online.

A totally new take on a property and interiors magazine, once you push open the front door and enter Amazing Welsh Homes (AWH), from the Western Mail and WalesOnline and in association with the Principality Building Society, you'll discover that it's unique because it's all Welsh and it's all about your homes.

Born out of the thriving Facebook group Amazing Welsh Homes, the magazine features real-life stories of your transformations, as well as going to go behind the pure silk curtains of million pound stunners to take a peek inside the most incredible properties for sale around the country, and there's interiors inspiration and advice from interior designers too.

Shops that are stocking the magazine include Co-op, WHSmith, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Lidl, Musgrave, and specific local shops (not all outlets) of Nisa, One Stop, Costcutter, Best One, Spar, some independent local shops and petrol stations, and it's also available to purchase (plus postage) online here.

In our innovators and renovators sections, you will find advice from people in Wales just like you, people who've taken on projects that range from doing up tired terraces to saving down-in-the-dumps stately homes – and you're all invited to have a look around.

If you're thinking of booking a Welsh holiday cottage make sure you buy the AWH magazine first, as there's a £40 booking discount inside for readers to use for website Under The Thatch, who are the go-to company to find the prettiest and most authentic Welsh cottages and historic homes to stay in.

And five lucky readers will win £100 worth of vouchers to spend with Frenchic, perfect for all your painting jobs now the summer weather is, hopefully, just around the corner.

Members of the Amazing Welsh Homes Facebook group, whose passion for property prompted the birth of the new magazine, are eager to get their copy.

"I can’t wait to have a magazine in my hand that’s full of real inspirational homes," comments Sarah Griffiths Legg, "It’s great to see people who have the courage to step outside their comfort zone and give others inspiration too! Plus it will save me going on Rightmove everyday to get my interiors fix."

For Emily Seage it's the focus on the range of properties that is the main aspect of the magazine that intrigues her, from traditional terraces to a posh country manor.

She says: "The magazine will show the design talent we have in Wales, as well as the beautiful properties, which is largely overlooked in current publications. It will also showcase work undertaken in a variety of budgets more in line with properties outside the likes of Kensington and The Cotswolds."

Shelley Matthews from Swansea thinks the magazine is a great idea, 'because Wales is a treasure trove of beautiful homes and buildings, which deserve to be shared so the world can see.'

And Shelley is right to think globally, as it's not just the passionate property people of Wales who are anticipating the launch of the magazine - it’s available to buy online giving people across the world a chance to peep behind the front doors of the Welsh homes featured.
